A shooting in Vaughan, Ontario on Wednesday has left one man dead and another injured. The suspect, who has since been arrested, had reportedly been seeking $2 million from members of the victim's condominium board.
According to police, the altercation began when the suspect confronted the victims, who were both members of the condominium board, in the lobby of the building. A physical altercation ensued, and the suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot both men. One of the victims, a 45-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other, a 41-year-old man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, a 35-year-old man, was arrested at the scene and is now in custody. Police are currently investigating the motive for the shooting and are looking into reports that the suspect had been seeking a large sum of money from the condo board.
