A video showing women appearing to be sex workers soliciting outside St. Anthony's K-8 grade school in East Oakland has raised concerns about human trafficking in the area. Rosa Vargas, a parent who drops her daughter off at the school, says young women who police believe may be trafficked are seen at all hours of the day outside the school. The I-Team has captured videos over the past couple of weeks showing young women wearing barely any clothing walking near the school. Oakland City Councilman Noel Gallo says the problem has become so severe that neighbors are calling him every week to complain they can't get into their homes, and he has seen girls as young as 15 and 16 walking on the street. The problem, which has plagued the area along International Boulevard for decades, has moved into residential neighborhoods after recent construction along E. 12th Street.
