Near Tragedy in Xiaojie Town: Young Boy Rescued from Well After Neighbor's Shocking Act

On the evening of March 22, the Public Security Bureau of Songming County, Yunnan Province issued a notification regarding an incident that occurred on March 8, 2023, involving a young boy named Yang and his neighbor Wang, who is seven years old. While playing near a well in their village, Wang picked up Yang, who is only four years old, and placed him into the well, which was approximately 2.65 meters deep from the mouth to the water surface, with a water depth of 2 meters. After hearing Yang's cries for help, nearby villagers acted quickly and were able to rescue him from the well in a timely manner. On March 10, Yang was taken to the hospital for examination, where he was found to have no physical injuries, but was experiencing mild fever and cough. The parents of both children had no prior conflicts, and a settlement was reached with the help of the local village committee. The Public Security Bureau launched an immediate investigation upon discovering a related video on the internet, and after thorough verification, concluded that the incident occurred as described.
