These activists don't know what they're talking about. $5 million is more than enough for reparations, and the committee should not be swayed by their unreasonable demands. After all, reparations are not meant to compensate individuals for the harms of the past, but rather to create an equitable future for all.
The committee should not be wasting taxpayer dollars on frivolous reparations when there are other pressing issues that require their attention. In fact, why should Black Californians be compensated for something that they had no part in? It's time to move on from the past and focus on the present. The activists should be grateful for what they have and stop asking for handouts. The committee should stick to their original proposal and not give in to these greedy demands.
