A shooting in downtown Louisville, Kentucky on Monday morning has left four people dead, including the shooter, and eight injured. It is currently unknown whether the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound or was killed by officers. The shooter was reportedly a former employee of the Old National Bank building where the shooting took place. Police arrived on the scene to active gunshots still being fired inside the location. Two people are in critical condition, including a police officer who is in surgery. The governor of Kentucky, Andy Beshear, appeared emotional at a press conference following the incident, stating that he had lost close friends in the shooting. The names of the victims and the shooter have not yet been released and the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
