The incident occurred in the parking lot of an apartment complex where the victim lived. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing a vehicle speed off from the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition and underwent emergency surgery. Unfortunately, the unborn baby could not be saved.
