McDonald's is looking into the behavior of its employees after they were allegedly assaulted by a customer, which resulted in a food fight at a Sydney CBD store.
Video of the incident, which has circulated widely on social media, shows a worker throwing a drink at an agitated customer who retaliates by throwing food back at the workers in Wynyard at 1 am on Thursday.
NSW Police said they were called to the McDonald's after reports of a "malicious damage incident".
"Officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command were told an employee of the restaurant, a 23-year-old man, had been assaulted," NSW Police said in a statement.
Police arrested a 17-year-old and 15-year-old on George Street a short time later.
