20-year-old Jordan Rivero is suing after he flatlined and ended up in a coma after being tased by police.
The incident happened after Rivero got into a bad car accident with his friends.
He was injured, bloody and confused after the accident which took place in the Florida Keys.
The confused and disoriented teen who was not under suspicion of any crime started panicking because he couldn’t breathe through his nose which was broken.
He stood up and started resisting police and was tased and continued to be stunned as he screamed.
“He had brain swelling and he suffered a traumatic brain injury,” his attorney Dena Foman told the Daily Mail.
“He flatlined right after they got him in the ambulance at the scene.”
Rivero’s throat was sliced open in the parking lot of the hospital so he could breathe.
“He had to be resuscitated two or three times and he ended up in a coma. He is very lucky to be alive.”
