Man admits to a reporter that he murdered a three-year-old girl after being arrested for the brutal murder of a Louisiana mom and her daughter.
'I'm on Lexapro. Sober. No drugs in my system. I did it.'
Daniel Callihan, 36, confessed to the crime, blaming his depression medication, as he was taken to jail in Jackson, Mississippi, on Friday.
He said he had borderline and multiple personality disorders but didn't deserve any leniency 'I would kill me... For what I did? Lethal injection is the easiest thing for me.'
The body of three-year-old Erin Brunett was found in a wooded area behind a house, and her six-year-old sister Jalie was found alive in a nearby car after a two-day search.
'I have no reason for what I did. All I know is, I want to say I was sober and only on Lexapro... I think it was the side effects of the Lexapro.'
Their mother, Callie Brunett, 35, Callihan's ex-girlfriend, was discovered murdered and sexually assaulted in her Louisiana home, 130 miles away.
'I am not pretending to be crazy. I am certified. I have only been out of the nut house for two weeks.'
