Dallas police launch investigation after a child was nearly kidnapped while playing outside with his friends.
The kids were approached by a man in an SUV who asked them to look at something in the back of his car before he chased them.
Police are describing the man as a "young Hispanic male in a white SUV."
"He’s said, 'There’s a football player in the back of the car.' And then said, 'Get in the back of the car.' Then I said,' I’m sorry. I don’t talk to strangers' and I ran away," one of the kids explained.
Police are looking for a white Toyota Four-Runner with Texas license plate number THS 9209 and say there may be another vehicle involved.
