Teens are inhaling and getting high on "Galaxy Gas," a product that is supposed to be used for culinary purposes.
The Galaxy Gas (nitrous oxide) trend is going viral on social media.
The product, according to the Georgia-based company, is meant to be used for "premium whipped cream dispensers, whipped cream charges, and all essential whipped cream products."
Experts warn that the trend could cause neurological issues, fainting, and varying levels of paralysis.
Galaxy Gas has since released a statement, saying they have paused all sales of whipped cream chargers.
"Galaxy Gas products are for responsible culinary use only, and we are deeply concerned about the recent news reports and social media posts of individuals illegally misusing our products. As a result, Galaxy Gas has paused all sales of its whipped cream chargers at this time."
