8-TIME FELON accused of killing an 80-year-old beloved dog walker during a carjacking found INCOMPETENT TO STAND TRIAL.
Jahmed Haynes, 48, is charged with first-degree murder, assault, and animal cruelty in the death of 80--year-old Ruth Dalton.
Dalton and her dog were killed during an Aug. 21 carjacking.
Haynes attacked Dalton and a witness before dragging her with the car as he fled.
Police found blood on Haynes' knife and Dalton's car keys during his arrest.
The judge ordered a 90-day restoration period.
That means he will undergo treatment so he can become competent to stand trial.
