Republican voters in Arizona are expressing concerns over Maricopa County’s announcement that it could take 10 to 13 days to fully tabulate the results.
Election officials have attributed the extended timeline to longer-than-usual ballots and a high voter turnout, but some Republicans are skeptical of the delay, raising questions about the process.
In Maricopa County, Deputy Elections Director Jennifer Liewer explained that the time frame is necessary to ensure accuracy and security. “We do expect that it will take between 10 and 13 days to complete tabulation of all the ballots that come in, but we ask for the community's patience,” Liewer said. She emphasized that the priority is to make sure the process is both secure and accurate.
