Wisconsin woman sentenced to life in prison for killing her friend with eye drops and then stealing $290,000 from her.
Jessy Kurczewski murdered 62–year-old Lynn Hernan with the intention of stealing everything she had.
Kurczewski gave Hernan a bottle of water with the main ingredient of eye drops in it, tetrahydrozoline.
After the murder, Kurczewski attempted to make the scene look like a suicide and then stole $290,000.
The Wisconsin woman showed little remorse and even continued to blame Hernan in court.
“The truth is, I did not kill Lynn... she took her own life by suicide or she accidentally overdosed.”
Kurczewski was sentenced to life in jail with the possibility of supervised release after 30 years.
